The project launched on April 16th by the European Commission and it is managed by the European Audiovisual Observatory. The database aims at promoting transparency in the European VoD sector and helping increase the presence, visibility and circulation of European films.
EuroVoD is proud to be a partner of this initiative that is a great tool for professionals, public authorities and most importantly, the users, to find information about European films and their availability online.

The directory already contains information on over 35 000 European films offered 150 000 times on VOD. This data has been taken from 250 different VOD catalogues available in 28 European countries.
