The Workshop 1 of the 2nd edition of the European VoD Meetings just took place on San Servolo in Venice, during the Venice Film Festival, from September 2-5. During 4 intense days of training, the participants attended panels, round tables, workshops and networking events around the current VoD landscape in innovation, tech, trends, marketing, content and access to finance.

One of the main priorities raised during this training session is the importance of collaborating, sharing best practices and finding the right partners at a European and international level, to contribute and develop a sustainable and competitive VoD sector.
This workshop also saw the 1st Vod Market Day, open to the public with a morning of conferences and project pitches and meetings in the afternoon. The panelists were: Christian Grece (European Audiovisual Observatory), Wendy Bernfeld (Rights Stuff), Julie-Jeanne Régnault (EFADS), Marzena Rembowski (Netflix), Amélie Leenhardt (Arte), Jaume Ripoll (Filmin), Bruno Delecour (FilmoTV), Roni Harel (Kaltura), William Page (FilmDoo), David Croyé (JustWatch).
